Raptor 660 Petcock looks different... (Read 81 times)

Pipes are flipped. I keep hearing I should just not use the filter as someone couldn't get his bike to run right. Any advice?

No documentation came with this. It looks exactly like the ones I've seen on this website except that the pipes are flipped. The longer copper pipe came with the filter you could add on top of it and that was it. It is a Raptor 660, but shrug.

Sketarius,

I received that same Raptor petcock in the mail today and was also concerned about the the copper pipe being on the left instead of the right side.

I am a newbie when it comes to this stuff, so I googled for a petcock diagram to understand what each of the 2 ports on the top of the petcock were for.

The one with the pipe is your normal fuel intake, while the one with just the filter is your reserve intake (well that made a bunch of sense!). So it should not matter at all if they are reversed from the others that we have been seeing.
