Title: Raptor 660 Petcock looks different... Post by Sketarius on 04/25/14 at 11:59:27 This petcock looks a bit different from the one's I've seen online. Pipes are flipped. It looks exactly like the ones I've seen on this website except that the pipes are flipped. The longer copper pipe came with the filter you could add on top of it and that was it. It is a Raptor 660, but *shrug*. |

Post by nickythegreek on 04/25/14 at 20:24:02 Sketarius, I received that same Raptor petcock in the mail today and was also concerned about the the copper pipe being on the left instead of the right side. I am a newbie when it comes to this stuff, so I googled for a petcock diagram to understand what each of the 2 ports on the top of the petcock were for. http://forums.ninja250.org/uploads/832902.jpg The one with the pipe is your normal fuel intake, while the one with just the filter is your reserve intake (well that made a bunch of sense!). So it should not matter at all if they are reversed from the others that we have been seeing. |
