Nice job on the frame. I live in west TN, when can I expect one to show up at my house? For use with an FLH rear fender and FXR Mustang style gas tank (minimum 6 inch single round tube backbone stretch)...

It does look great so far, Absolutely no hurry, Savage isn't getting cut up until I have a VN800A (with completed full rear fender conversion and Indian type saddlebags) as a primary bike. Which will send the Savage back into toy/backup status.

Please tell me that oil tank used to be a can of pork and beans!!!  That counts for bonus point, my friend.

Seriously, very nice job on the hard tail.  I would need some springs on that seat though...that just looks painful.

Sometimes when you've looked at everything, the problem ends up being the loose nut on the seat!

no it's a steel pipe and the end of a coffee can for the end cap it was a last min thing the small keg I had was too big, the seat is bolted down for now,the nex owner can putspringd on it or I may if I ride it a lot they would be stiff springs ( I'm at 270lb. right now. and THANKS it's not perfect but it looks ok it was my first ls650 build I usually build xs650's
it was fun to build and I'll have fun ridding it untill it's sold.again thanks for all the help,I just need to finsh an few little things and work out the bugs, should be a good bike.( it's not too bad for a bike I got in a box. Cool
