Actually, no, I dont think "we all knew".. I think there are several among just this small group who dont believe either'
a It is happening
or
B there is anything wrong with it, since Obama is in charge

IDK how the left sees it. If they knew of it when Bush was in office, then Im sure they opposed it. But now, with Obama in office, for all I know they see it as great & wonderful.

Wanna know how long its been goin on? Heres a clue,,

Facebook, twitter, Instagram......

Yeah, I'm on all of them.

But I have legions of fans that must know what I'm doing.
Ok.....so it's mostly my mom. & sister. & it's so they can see pics of my 2 boys.
Maybe there's a few people that follow my racing.

But it feels like legions!  Grin

As far as being tracked, I think you guys might be a bit paranoid.
not being in social media wouldn't stop them from tracking your every heart beat, if that's what they wanted to do.

Although I might have popped up due to my gun purchases in the last year or so.....maybe 20? Who cares???? This forum is so G rated compared to most I'm on.

I doubt you even know just how scattered this post is.

As far as being tracked, I think you guys might be a bit paranoid.

It is ADMITTED now that NSA has been recording every conversation & phone number you called & that called you. YOur every post is captured. These things are known to people like me who have been following things for years & have "connected the dots". I just posted a link to a video where Ron Paul makes a few points about them using computers to analyze data in order to keep up with OUR people,,

not being in social media wouldn't stop them from tracking your every heart beat, if that's what they wanted to do.

& yet, you readily admit they COULD!,, & deny they do!? REally?
& How do you explain the huge computer complexes theyre building?
Spend some time looking into NSA rooms in telecom buildings..
Years ago they started forcing telecom companies to allow them to build on rooms with computers. Everything flows thru them. Everything is recorded. Software searches for key words. Who is in contact with whom is noted. Sufficient contact with people & sufficient key words in those conversations & then they put a person in to listen to thos old "tapes".. or digits on a disk,, however they do it,,
This guy is in trouble because he is making it harder for the criminals to do what they do.

ill have to give my 2 cents here.

Being (slightly) younger, I am on all the social media: facebook, twitter, instagram, and now vine. theres blogs, forums, etc. BUT I agree everyone is a bit paranoid(just so that word is used one more time  Grin)

of course, everything is tracked and monitored, but unless you are doing some things you shouldn't be doing(as in illegal activities, not just watching porn you think your wife doesn't know about) then you are fairly safe. While this does feel like a HUGE invasion of privacy, and is, it shouldn't alarm anyone or cause us to want to drop off the grid and become hermits. As with most things, the greater and more powerful they become(in this case technology) the more consequences and responsibilities there are. to me its kind of like taking a little bad for the greater convenience and experience.

and in case anyone else chooses to risk their privacy and use any of the social networks out there, look me up! always glad to have more people with common interests!

nickeynicknick is what i go by on twitter, instagram and here (its usually not taken)

and i just recently started a blog on tumblr  www.tankdreams.tumblr.com

What in HELL is wrong with you? Soo,, YOure okay with cops showing up to rummage thru your things,, you know,, just to keep everyone safe?

Hey!,, Why NOT!? LOng as youre not doin anything WRONG,, YOu got Nothin to worry about, right?

I think we need a new law,, a law against drapes, & another requiring at least one window in every room,, that way the coips can keep an eye on us, see that we are always safe,,

YOu people better get an idea on what being an American Means, & what freedom is & how privacy IS part of freedom.,
Yea,, youre young,, & youve been denied MUCH understanding by a system that is designed to create the thinking you express.

RE think it. Youre a danger to a free society

Amen, Apache. Regardless of whether we are being personally tracked, there is nothing in the Constitution that gives our goverment the right to track our communications. It is a slippery slope...

That should be enough key words I would think. Guess what guys, in about 1.3 seconds, this web site will go under surveillance. I hope they don't ask about oil.
Good hunting

Oh, one other key word that I like better. The Constitution.

I'm merely saying......what do you have to be so afraid of?
Do you think the lab rats fear the scientists?
No.
They know they're there.

Afraid? Im NOT afraid.. I simply resent my privacy being screwed with,
I am Supposed to be free of "Unreasonable SEARCH & seizure",, or are you not aware of that?
If YOU believe yourself to be no more than a lab rat, then you allow society's "scientists" to subject YOU to their tests. I, a Man,, resent the idea that someone would be snooping in my private affairs,,

No.
They know they're there.

Rather a poor and simplistic analogy I think. The lab rat may know the scientist is there but can't comprehend that the scientist is about to split open its skull and implant an electrode. If he knew, don't you agree the rat might want to take some sort of action rather than relying on the goodwill and compassion of the scientist?

Good hunting

& AS I SAID,, I am NOT afraid, Im PISSED.  MY MOney is being used to create an infrastructure that invades MY Privacy.. Whether or not I am doing anything wrong is immaterial. I resent the program. You should, too. That you apologize for it is scary.,

Heh.... we might be able to fix it all, with one law passed.

No political term should last more than four years, only one political term per applicant.

What ya think?
LOL I KNOW it wouldn't pass....in the house or senate....ROFL....

Fresh thinkin'.... repeal laws that a majority of PEOPLE don't want, not politicians. Of course some would be put back into effect with each new batch of politicians, and could you imagine the money they would be recieving under the table...

Ok...i'm not being realistic... but what can you really do????

im a danger to free society? Sad  thanks Justin. that's harsh. but I understand the issue with privacy. I guess I just think there is a huge difference between virtual and reality. sorry to offend anyone with strong opinions.  Smiley

hope we can all at least agree that on two wheels none of this matters.  Grin
