Anybody finding that the ammo shortage is easing in your area?
I haven't seen any easing here in Johnstown, PA. yet.

A vendor I know finally has cases of 7.62x39 in stock.
325 shipped.

I can't find any local ammo.

The only thing I shoot in quanity are 22's. The stores stay sold out but I've found a private supplier.

The only sporting goods store Ive been in in months is Academy. They are stocked for the first time in a long time, but they have limits on how much you can buy in a day,

I know the government slowed down the bigger bullet manufacturing with their 1.6 biilion order but I don't get it with the 22's. I love to shoot 22 shorts in my Henry, haven't seen any of them in over 6 months.

Have you ever had any Aquila ( Aguila?) powderless? Primer only. So quiet it sounds like a dry fire,

Things are not improving around here. None of the chain stores-Dicks, Gander Mtn. Walmart etc. have much of anything and the small shops are in worse shape. Shotgun hunting and target loads and a few hunting rifle calibers are about all I'm seeing. I haven't seen a box of 22LR for sale for a couple of months.

What about bullet speed and accuracy? I shoot subsonic shorts in my Henry and my pellet gun is louder.

no ammo around here in oklahoma. people are still paying $50 per box for 9mm when they find it. pretty hard to keep a gun range open when nobody has any ammo.
it will come back just takes time. last time that muslim got elected it took about a year for things to start calming down.

Speed? Ehhh not fast, accuracy? Well,, a cross wind is gonna cause problems, BUT, you otta get some anyway,, cuz theyre so quiet you can shoot them in your back yard with neighbors next door , outside. Theyll never even know its not a pellet gun,
Just grab one box, youll either dig them or ya wont,, I think theyre a hoot,,

Things are easing a bit in New Hampshire.  I can get most of the rounds I shoot but there are still limits imposed (2 boxes per person etc...) and sometimes they sell outta 22LR and 9mm pretty fast.  Various ARs and shotguns are back in stock too now that the "rush" seems to have subsided.

I heard through the grapevine the gun haters were gonna go another round in 2014. With all the lies and deceit coming out of Washington our government is truly tyrannical.I never was a fan of black guns but when the government tried to tell me I couldn't own one, now I have 2 and I'm planning on getting another one tomorrow..One of these days the real people are gonna get tired of this sh!t and the crooks and thieves in Wasington will all be hiding out in their bunkers. What Washington is doing to us now is a drop in the bucket compared to what the English done to us. As far as ammo goes its beginning to trickle back in a little at a a time. 22's are the hardest to get.

Ammo is still hard to come by around my area. The big box stores are sold out most of the time and  I saw 500 bricks of .22 going for $75.00 at a gun show last week. Hand gun ammo costs $27.00 and up for a box of 50 rounds and there is a run going on for reloading components. Primers are up to $49.95 per brick of 1000 but at least they are starting to appear on the shelf again. Still hard to find any of the faster burning rifle powders or pistol powders. At least some stuff is showing back up in the stores, give it another two or three months for the prices to come down if they ever do.

Some crack pot was trying to sell 1000 rounds of 5.56 for $660.
Ok, the crisis is "over". Prices are coming back down and stabilizing again. I can get a case of 62 gr 5.56 for 450 shipped to my door.
