Windshield placement

I purchased a Slipstreamer S-00 Enterprise II for the fall/winter. I put risers on my handlebars so it doesn't seal against the headlight if I want hand protection. Should I lower the windshield to the headlight or put a tool bag on the bars to block that airflow? I am leaning towards the tool bag but am looking for opinions.

You may need to adjust it some, get the slipstream hitting where ya want it, etc,, then see what you need in terms of sealing off places,, They can affect handling, so be careful.. mount a 1/2 sheet of plywood to your steering, add wind,,

I don't have a lot of adjustment. With my bars raised and tilted forward a little it is all I can do to keep the plexi off the master cylinder. I have ridden it. The wind that 'leaks' past the headlight hits my chin and face. I put a tool bag in there and went for a ride just now. It helped a bit. Now I feel the wind coming around the sides!

I haven't done any highway riding yet, just up to 50mph and it seems to handle fine at those speeds. I will try jamming some more stuff in there to seal it up. I do like the wind off of my hands so I need to make it work this way.

i've got the 06 model and put it on my '05 s40 with the drag bars. VERY limited in where you can and can't put them and at the lowest setting they are nowhere near the headlight.

didn't notice a bunch of air coming through (didn't 'feel' it, etc.) but found it to be very noisy. probably have to end up riding it, adjusting it, riding, adjusting, etc.

I thought of that. My concern is the headlight housing getting hot enough to ignite my towel. Is this a legitimate concern?

I figured out (after I posted) that I have burned my hands on the headlight bulb but never the housing. I will try redneck approach and see what happens.

A little wind targeted at my chin but most of that is coming from the sides. I may try to tilt my bars back a little to see if it affects that. Otherwise, I am pretty happy. I do think it is ugly but necessary for the cold months.
