Yea....I am not wacky enough to take the engine out and split the cases just to change a gear. If there were a gear upgrade.....I would sure do it if I had the the engine out and needed to take it apart to do something else.

I bought the 25 Tooth Kawasaki belt pulley and just plan on doing that change to get a little better gearing for cruising on the highway.

Keep and eye out for the Versy 6th gear.....so far it looks the most promising....if only we knew what the tooth count was.

Someday I will be old......But not today!

California Gender:	Re: Dragon Tranny Mod Reply #17 - 11/09/12 at 18:47:26 The tooth count of the kawa belt is 137 and has a slightly higher profile. 4 teeth more than ours and the same width. with a pitch of 14mm this would be 28mm longer than our belt or a little more than an inch longer.
