Yes, and I wonder why I make 40/hr and feel poor.

I also have no problem doing just what I am asked, and nothing more, and never documenting what I do unless I am specifically asked and I have very high tolerance for boredom where I do the same thing over and over again (I automate it, but its to allow me to cruise the net) and really honestly whatever I did at any job turns irrelevant the day I leave.

Well dont blame me, its the corporate culture of hiring me as a contractor. If you dont care about me after 6 months, guess what, neither would I.

Here is another twist to all the political hand wringing over the high income group and their "creating jobs" ...

90% of people making over 250k are employees themselves. Not business owners.

84% of businesses create exactly 1 job - as in 1 man/woman working a business.

These people dont need a "tax break to create jobs" ... they dont create squat no matter what the breaks are.

The whole concept of capital gains is garbage and needs to be got rid of.

Cool.
Srinath.

Its funny but in the 1950s when tax rates on the rich were 75-90% this country was booming, thats because the rich were sinking their money back into businesses to hide it from the IRS.. Now they have the Caymans, and a army of tax lawyers to help them with their 33%...

yup, they have made it easier for the rich to make money without doing any work, so now, there's no work, we all saw this coming, but the rich keep brainwashing(bribing) politicians to do their bidding. capital gains should be higher than the corporate tax rate, or whatever businesses pay so rich people are encouraged to open businesses and invest in workers and America again

True on the spoiled, parents just hand em cash, they do not do the kid any favors.. I can remember having wants when I was fourteen, and also remember shoveling lots of manure at the local milk barn for a hundred a month plus room and board at sixteen...

Not everyone is lucky enough to start out in a "stable" job.
