Thanks guys. A steering damper would slow down the momentum of those mega wide 34 inch bars. No plan for a brace yet. She's plenty noodly, but, I think that's the headstock, without bracing the frame, I'm not sure how much you can really improve the handling. I have a little bolt-on open pipe that actually DID shoot off while idling, having not been sinched down and no hanger on it yet. Some things can wait
Yup, I have a RYCA seat unit that I had the old school vinyl put on, just need to settle on a paint scheme to work with the tank. But, for now, I just have to ride it after waffling around for 4 months over half of creation putting it together. I'll post more on it when I get around to it.
And the positioning is great. That old seat is a little narrow to say the least, but, I was concerned the pegs were too high and rearset etc, not a problem at all for me at 5'10". Turns real nice too with the mega bars. Cheers
