I just snapped mine off. The manual said 6-8.5 pounds torque for tensionor plate bolt. 2nd question, do you know where I can get another bolt?

That looks right to me.
any oem parts distributer.
I do have a loose one that I check the holes with, but I'd want a replacement.

Hey Im new to the Savage world. I got on the forum to see the community and to see what i needed to look for on the bike i was going to buy. I bought a 2001 and it already had a good petcock on it and some exhaust, air filter, rejet, white walls Wink

, but i knew i needed to check my cam chain tensioner. I opened it today and noticed it was already .9" out. very bad!!!!! haha so i need to order one of these and a headplug but its not taking me to the email when i press it. I also cant pm because i just started and dont have 10 posts. haha. Let me know what i need to do. This is the tensioner:
