I want to get a tkat installed first though.

Reply #21 - 09/21/11 at 08:29:11 I'm about 6'1 and didn't like the buckhorns - made the bike feel small and my elbows were almost in my lap. Bought a used pair of bars off a Dyna, and love the wider grip and the fact that i can now stretch my arms a little bit - much more comfortable.

Seems like the S40's stock drags are winning out over the Savage's stock buckhorns!
Have to say that back in '06 when I still had my '03 Savage, I had a chance to Ride an aquaintence's '05 S40 and I was very surprized at the improvement in comfort and handling the drags made over the bucks ... was like Riding a whole different Bike!

Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure you are not, in fact, just surrounded by arseholes!

OK, so I deff dig the drag bars apposed to bucks myself.

but after seeing the bone straight BROOM's and wicked Z-BAR's look its kind of a toss up for me now...

I had my heart set on brooms, but would you need to put risers for the DRAG or BROOM type set up??

I would get Z-BAR's but I think it would need longer cables. . . and maybe risers. Im just lookin for a new handlebar thats straight and wouldnt need ANY risers off a stock 96' Savage! Cheesy
