First, I just want to say how great this site and how helpful the senior members seem to be. Ihope that in the near future I can be as helpful. in the meintime I have alot of guestions and I will be asking after some deep reading/searching for an answer first.

 I purchased a 2005 S40, that now has 1600 miles. This is my fisrt bike. I bought it for riding to work but I find myself cruising any chance I get. With that said, I want to add a bit more performance but want to start at the bottom and of course withoutusing any damage to by engine or any other componets. Any advise would be awsome.
