Two thoughts come to mind: first "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" and second I wonder if the bumper heights were different on the three vehicles (basically what caused this to happen).

Tailgaters are fun but the ones i really dispise are the ones that do the ole 'slow down n weave' manuver. Slow way down then start weaveing halfway into the other lane every time they think your going to pass.
Idjits! Had one in a jeep last night doing it.

ESO, I thought bumper heights were all uniform in the US, I remember when the origional mini cooper was made in England they could not export to the USA because there bumpers were the wrong heights.  ?

what happens in a panic stop?
the front dives and the rear lifts.
almost seen the same thing happen this morning
2 idiots tailgaiting each other racing up to a lead car.
#1 idiot suddenly decides 3 feet is too close and jams on the brakes.  If idiot #2 wasn't watching he could've easily plowed into #1.

In the picture look at the car doing a head stand, the rear axle is busted loose.  that's how hard idiot #2 hit him.

Vers ,thats what you get for living in LA,Why dont you get the flock outa there ?
Are you retired ? are you getting close ? You can allways try Oregon,we do not have perpetual sunshine,in fact on occasion we have some snow, but winter consists  mostly of rain.
The main reason I chose Oregon to retire in is because the climate is as close to England as you can find, if you look at a globe you will see that Portland is on the same lateral as London. there are a few other reasons but that will do for now.

I don't like tailgaters either. I have seen several bikers around here with the long braided whips on the end of the handlebars. They tell me they use them on a persons windshield in cases where the person has tailgated and upon passing they whip the hell out of that persons windshield. I don't think that is smart either. It seems it would only irritate the other driver and cause more problems.
I find a safe place to pull over and let that person go. That way they get another look at a cool bike.. Wink  kim

Got to keep in mind with folks going on shooting sprees over being fired or racial harassment among other things,
It wouldnt be real smart to ball bearing, bb, or whip an offending vehicle.
Could easily get run over or SHOT!
If someone is already jacknig with your for FUN, what are they going to do when you pizz em off with a ball bearing or whipping their whindshield.

My philosphy(sp) is if they try to kill you hard enough, call the cops on them or else follow them to their destination then stomp the snot out of them after they get out of their rolling weapon...lol

I love LA Wink....

About 13 years, an early morning, I started chest pains.  I call 911, "I think I am having a heart attack."  The listed my telephone number and address off their screen, "We have dispatched."  Past tense.  The EMT's had me on the gurney in less than three minutes.

When I broke my Savage's clutch cable I called the local dealer, not available.  Second, no.  Third on stock.  Have nine more within 25 miles if I needed.

I have less than four miles within the supermarket... Ralph's, Vons (2), Smart & Final (2), Albertson, Valu+, Supreme, Food for Less, Payless Foods....  Several 24-hour drug stores.  Just about any thing I want to buy is available *now*.

There's no place "safe". This happened an hour west of St Louis in what's usually a pretty quiet stretch of I44. An SUV rearended a semi, then got run over by two buses loaded with high school kids going to Six Flags. How the heck does this happen???
