Hello From Ashland, Missouri
07/21/10 at 07:41:53

Hi,, We just added our 6th bike to the barn,, a 86 savage with 4600 mi,, mainly a ride for the wife,, or visiting friends,,  I ride a 04 roadstar, we also have a DR400 for the woods, and a yamaha 125 TTR, and a old school minibike for the grankids,,, I'm restoring a 57 matchless 500, GS80, which is proving to be a daunting task, with the magneto in all and after that I have a BSA frame and motor  staring at me in the workshop. I do all my own work so I'm sure I'll have questions..  I already have a brakelight switch issue,, with a ebay replacement in the mail.. Guess I'll take things apart tomorrow, and check all the connections. greatsite,,I look forward to visiting....

Welcome to the site Oscar, nice bike collection!

Most parts you may need for your savage you can find
cheap at pinwall cycle parts, except clutch (4 vs. 5 gears)
and some newer electric connectors will not fit your 86,
see you around. http://stores.ebay.com/PinWall-Cycle-Parts-Inc_Suzuki-GZ250-Savage_W0QQ_fsubZ...

Welcome aboard, mate!

We've got a few regulars in Missouri, and with Ashland being midway between St. Louis and KC, you should be nicely located should we ever organize a get-together!
