y'know.. there's forums and forums out there who laugh at us right now for cherishing our LS. There's something in HD, that heavy, clunky piece of American iron... Parts thrown upon another, regardless of the weight and practicality... HDs are too heavy for me, but I'll admit, there's something about it... A good friend of mine has a fatboy, and boy... I admire that thing a lot. Don't shoot me, there's that something about it...

A friend of mine said "I ought to get a harley"
My retort was "I hear they are hard on your back"
As we had discussed many times before, he can't ride as much as he'd like cause it hurts his back. So I told him get new shocks, get a air sprung seat off a police special, etc. and get back on it.
Can't deney they're good looking bikes but I ride, daily. And to get a $20,000 bike to burn up going back and forth to work is out of the question. How much did I pay? oh let's just say $1000 and based on the gas I save I can get another one every year if I want.
Yeah he says.
