All the great look and ride, able to sound just as good, if not better, and at a fraction of the cost. The best bike Ive ever owned was my V-Star 650. I traded my sporty for it. Some might call it dumb, but I called it a more comfortable ride

Not dumb to me. About 5-6 years ago, I had a 1994 Sportster 1200 & a 2000 Savage. They both had under 6000 miles. The savage is a jump on and ride bike, the sporty was a start & warm up a minute. Even then it CLUNKED loudly when put in gear. It was a really nice looking bike in, according to the dealer who serviced it, great condition. All my complaints were met with "they're all like that". The final straw was the blistered inner thigh from the oil tank, 200 miles on a hot Texas day. Huh

I sold it, & kept the Savage. And even though I got a bigger bike now, I still have an '01 sSavage for back up! Cool
