I like this idea!
The fact that we are all wanting to do something like this shows me that it has been a long hard winter for most of us. Man I got to get out of the house and on the bike!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in but how long do we have for task #1? I won't get a chance to ride until the weekend but would like to get an entry in.

First one to post a pic wins, and gets to pick the next challenge. Oh, and whoever sets up the challenge has to agree that the person's picture fulfills it.
I guess we should probably set a time limit, if somebody picks something too difficult? Maybe a week, or we'll see how it goes...
** If this flies, I will edit the initial post as we go along with winners and next challenge.... and the rules, as we agree on them.
(This would make it easier to check in before you go ride, to see what the current challenge is)

Just let me think a bit on what the task shall be.
Was such a lovely day today I left the house on the bike at about 1 o'clock and didn't return till just about now.

I challenge you to get a picture of your bike in front or near an Historical Marker sign. Must clearly be able to see what Historical feature the sign is pertaining to.
As I am the one issuing the challenge, I disqualify myself from participating. (besides there are so many historical marker signs near me it would be very unfair if I participated in this one.)
How does three days starting 03-18-10 sound for a time limit?

LOL 'Bot.
Just to clarify on my challenge, the entire sign does not have to be able to be read. What I mean is for example if I were to participate I would park next to the Black Water Draw historical marker, only the "Black Water Draw" would need to be visible and readable in the picture. Though it would be cool if the poster would describe what the significance is of the marker, for instance the Black Water Draw is the archeological site where the "Clovis People" were discovered as being the earliest people in North America. That is until they discovered an even earlier sign of people a bit further south though I do not remember where that was.

Cum'on Burn,... time to step up!... $30 bucks for a cheapy... you point it and shoot (way easier than film), plug it in your compooter and it will know what to do...
From there,... you just have to post.... We'll walk you through, easy...
Join the fun!,.... the hard part will be beating these other guys to the hunt!...
PS,.. late entries post your pic anyway.... WTF?.. if you shot it, might as well post it...

Unfair, Unfair. We're just ditching the snow but there's more in the forecast for next week. Fred is still in the garage and the battery is in storage.
Can I use my car?
