The brake light switch, activated by brake lever never worked on my bike, only the rear brake pedal activates the brake light. Don't know how I passed inspection in 2008. Hope I'll be as lucky when I bring it for inspection next month.

When the brake light cable broke on my 2000, I just stole the one off of my 87 parts bike and used it. No problem. That was dang near four years ago now.

Speaking of light wiring, I just repaired the wiring harness for my speedometer light. I can now see my speedometer at night again.
