Thank you.

CAN ANYONE FUND CHEAPER PRICES ON GASKETS?

15.21$ for clutch cover gasket and 9.01$ for generator cover gasket?

$1 for some poster board and an exacto knife, and about 15 minutes..........
I actually did that and sealed the posterboard with floor wax, works fine, no leaks.

Mine looks like that too.  I was just looking at it today.  Not sure what the purpose is.

well the zx6r is a 4cyl that is smooth, and his ignition box looks exactly like mine, same plastic "gravel"  stuff.

Yep. Well the first thing that came to mind was some pissed off Japanese worker threw a handful of gravel in the rubber mix.  Then I looked closer and realized its little pieces of plastic.

Can't advise you what to try without knowing what it is to begin with. Undecided
Not knowing that, you need an adjustable timing light to check total timing advance. Bring the rpm up to where all advance will be in, then dial the light back until 0 degree tdc marks line up. read the total advance from the timing light. That's the only way I'll set the timing on a modified engine. Cool

I wouldn't go past 36 degrees total advance to start with, that's about all most engines will tolerate without melt down. :'( :'( Don't ask how I know. $$$$$$$$$$$$poof Roll Eyes

well stock is 5* before TDC at idle and 30* at something like 4K or 5K.

So Id be at 34*.  Ill run high octane at first and keep an eye out for detonation.

Bike will be dyno'd soon. Might pit it back stock, other than head porting. Dyno it.  Put it how it is now, advance timing, carb, exhaust. and re dyno and compare.
