paintin the hot stuff!

i just put the sporty muffler on, i was in a bartendin class all day & now it's rainin, i'll put pics up when it's not crappy out.

i want to paint either the muffler itself with some writin or the oil filter cover so to speak. is this where bbq paint comes in?

and she runs like a BEAST! i put the k&n in as well with the sporty muffler and i love it ! she's alot faster, responsive and i reached 70mph in 4th gear which i had never done before!!

i'm gonna have to wait for my friend to rejet, i'm slightly initmidated to do the carb myself, but she doesn't pop real loud anymore. she kinda growls, and on shut off, no more 12 gauge, now it's like a flame is extinguished lol!!

still wicked though  Grin

I used high temp automotive paint. It's still on there. I did bake it (on the bike) like the manufacturer advised. Peels off very easily 'til you bake it. Did not smell as bad as the "anti seize" i used on the header bolts!

I used some high temp grill paint and it's holding up pretty well. I baked it on as well (while riding the bike). Needs touched up, but I've got almost a full can left so I could touch up forever.

BBQ paint from walmart.  Put like 4 coats on it, then heat it like everyone says to set the paint.  then repeat it all again.

works so good, and looks great!

I always thought about a "stinger" paint on the end. Just a bit of yellow or red. Never got aroundtuit. Sad
