maybe that's my problem.  as everything I can check with the multi meter seems to be ok, maybe I just need some bigger wire.  It's worth a shot.

Turns out 8 gauge doesn't move enough amps to make a spark, but 6 gauge does!  Just got back from a test ride, and everything is great!  She runs like a champ.  Thanks for all the help guys.  Still haven't resolved the initial issue of cutting out, but now that she's back on the road, I can try and diagnose that as well.  Thanks again.  HAPPY 4TH O' JULY!!! Grin
