Gas Reserve on 2001 savage (Read 87 times)

So check it out yourself!

Ride until you have to switch to reserve -- immediately find a gas station and fill up. THIS will be the amount of gasoline you have before hitting reserve. Continue riding you run out of gas. Push the bike to a gas station and fill up -- this time remembering to switch the petcock back to main. THIS is the total capacity of your gas tank. (My tank holds exactly 2.93 gallons.) The difference of these two fillups is the amount of gasoline you have in reserve.
