handlebars..handlebars....What To do?

Got a 2006 stock handlebar set-up now with what I consider too tall of a rise and too far of a pullback. thinking about dropping the riser down to just the short top piece and going with something along the line of WCC's Super Duper Bars (29.5W X 4" rise X 5" pullback). Thing is @ $200, that's a lot of lawns to mow and newspapers to throw. Is there a similar bar out there that will allow me to keep both kidneys?

You should be able to find a set of bars from emco or the like for 20 to 40 $. Goto an independant.

I fail to see the problem... one kidney is sufficient anyway...

Yup, some of the soft tail bars are pretty close to the measurements the OP is looking for and sit pretty on the stock low risers. I had some on my 87 briefly and it gave it a very "ordinary" neutral feeling. The 28"+ width always feels good to me too. Looked like this:
Purple 87 is in foreground. As I recall I gave $30 for the bars and a set of Harley risers that I didn't need from eBay. Real nice if you want a old school stock handlebar feel.
