Drilling holes in the stock rear plate

Ok, small question, if I have 3 7/8" holes in the rear plate of the stock muffler and no changes to the intake side of things, should a rejet be necessary? I plan on getting a kit from Lancer soon, once he has some more, and after I get a new air filter and a good slip on. I shouldn't be too lean right? By the way, it actually sounds pretty good.
