Reply #1 - 11/26/06 at 02:39:35 It is a Savage engine that someone cleverly added a piece to the outside to make it look like there was a pushrod tube on it. It is just for looks.

Reply #4 - 11/26/06 at 21:46:30 Besides the phony push rod tube there are a couple of other things that stand out, to me, on this Savage: Note the dropped battery box and rectifier relocated onto the fender. I like both ideas!

It also seems to be missing the speedo cable. I wonder what will ahppen when they decide to do something about the exhaust.

FYI: The horn location is typical for European bikes.
He has a bicycle computer installed: see the curled wire around the brake line ( stainless).
The tank appears to be original and the battery box has it's topside ( the plastic part) removed
The blinker on the steering bar end are the same as mine ( 20usd each).
