I don't know of anyone who's mounted a Sportster tank to the Savage.  I have a flatbottom peanut tank on mine, and it wasn't too hard to manage.  But typical Sportster Tanks have a round tunnel and the Savage has a square backbone, etc.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, used-up, worn out, and defiantly shouting 'Geronimo!!!'
