I'm a 5 gallon man

I finished putting on my tour tank today, It took a bit of fiddling to get it on,but the plumbing was easy.
As far as I know you cant turn the gas off on the pet thingee so I will be running with both tanks at the same time,or I could just run with the main tank until I run out
and then switch to the tour tank, has anyone ever changed the pet thingee to a straight on/off ?

i remember a post from last winter or early spring from a members install think they had done a three way valve
also remember a post of changing the petc0ck to manual but had different carb. need the vacume for the cv type carb..
this ol brain has trouble post pics on site also, if you can e mail pics to fellow member maybe they could post 4 you...

Purely in my own interest as I want a Tour Tank also, so do not feel as if I am doing you any favors. IM or e-mail me a number and time to call and I WILL help you get your pictures posted. I may not wrench very well, but there are not many better than me in the communications field.

You might consider the

modification so you can run the Tour tank dry first, then the main tank, and then you have 30 miles or so on reserve to find fuel.
