Getting my Savage back after accident

Hi, just registered & need some advice, I'm just getting my Savage back & will be replacing the frame (I happen to have one in the garage spare)

Is there a mod I can do to make my ride a bit less scrunched up (I'm six foot)

TIA

Col

There are the usual height-oriented mods: raised seat and/or forward controls.  There exists a plethora of information on both.

If you are talking frame mods then the sky is the limit (within the constraints of your skills and wallet).

The number of cylinders isn't important...it's how you use them.

Jesse Ray, on his chopper, did a "frame cut right at shocks and rebuilt for 13 inch wide seat":  http://savage.andruschak.net/jesse_ray2.jpg

The new saddle looks to be about four inches further back than stock -- which would give you more room.  You could mount a saddle a bit higher and further back if you need still more room.
