Rubber Brake Pedal Cover

Well, I hopped on the bike and rode up to Auto Zone with tape measure in hand and here is the result...
And here is the part number, should anyone else choose to do this to your own bike...
The fit is pretty tight, so I don't think any type of adhesive will be necessary. It gives me much more surface area for my foot, and the ribbing in the pad makes it less likely for my foot to slide off when I don't want it to.

Ended up using a dab of contact cement on mine so it doesn't move around, beside that it's great
.

Yeah, its not the absolute perfect fit, but it was about the closest I could find. Mine stays in place just fine without glue, I just have to watch catching my toe on it and pulling it off.

Fact -- I've ridden with this mod in wet weather and it
does not
get slick. Look closely and you'll see the tread on the cover. I'll guarantee you it is less slick than the metal pedal.

Great find! Thanks for the tip. A spot of Gorilla Glue on mine and it's not going anywhere.

Here is a pic of my installation. I used a stainless wire tie and cut out the groove in the raised part of the tread to set it in flush.

Just made this addition to my '09 S40. Seems like a great idea.
