Good one Lancer. It would probably be a good place for a drop in ashtray. HaHa

You can also take the side rails off and put in some aftermarket turn signals, if you're so inclined.  I know several of the folks here have done that, myself included.  It'll cost you the price of turn signals (to give you an idea of how much...mine were fairly cheap DOT ones at around $25 US), but cuts down on the weight somewhat, and solves the problem of what to do with the openings!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, used-up, worn out, and defiantly shouting 'Geronimo!!!'

The world is my ashtray... and urinal.

I like the picture of Lee Marvin in the Wild One, where he's got his foot on the front wheel, leg over the headlight, with the striped shirt, better...  whatever.

What I need to do is remove my speedo cable and speedo and make a little plate/cover to fill in the hole.  Gonna have to cut the cable off of the speedo cable and weld a little plate over the the cap that goes tot he engine... can't find any threaded end caps that will fit.

ah here it is:

Hijacked!
