Grin
got my back rest and rack put them on now have a pair of pilions(chrome jobs mount to rear fender holds turn signals) that i dont need .. just let me know if anyone can use...
got my hd muff from e bay today used $45 with clamp
sound alot better than the stock jetson car pipe..
the instructions and from what ive read here are a little different the what i came across on my '06 fyi..
1)" remove copper spacer from head pipe" i found none.

2)"clamp on heat shield is non removable" found.. heat shield mount@ slip on junction and hed pipe muff clamp are two seperate pieces.the shield clamp does not come off the shield..i used the clamp that i ordered with the muff cause it was wider than the stock clamp..

3)"bend tab on hd muff" ...while trying to line every thing up i noticed  if iwas to bend the tab the end of the muff woulh rub my brake cable ..so i lossened the head pipe @ the head(couldnt remove w/o taking engine guard off) got the angle i liked and rolled the muff so part of it rests in the back channel of the stock support arm drilled the arm and cut a spacer out of tubing for between the hd tab and the arm used the peant grinder to make a "saddle" in one end of the tubing where it meets the round part of the arm.last nite i drilled out the brass cap and adjusted the mix screw 1.5 out from lite snug.. no back fires some rumles on de cell
(liken that) but the 155 howitzer has been laid to rest!

mods yet to arrive:  k&n filters air and oil(btw did an oil change @ 300 miles with new filter and magnetic drain plug only got 2 qts in and shes readin a lil over thought with filter supos to take 2.5 Qt ??)air filter is for stock box, dyno jet kit,7" crome heat shield for muff splice, saddle bags, fork bag, super white head lite bulb,
red led license plate bolts...should do for now
