The April 2006 issue of Motorcycle Cruiser has an article on a handful of bikes from the 80s that are still kickin' around.  The Savage/S40 is one of them.  The reporting on it seems to be a recycled version of what we usually see.  This site and the one in the Netherlands are listed.  I have to give 'em credit though for a more in-depth look recently in their 2006 Suzuki Boulevard S40 Test which is in another thread around here somewhere too.  It's better coverage than most.

Oh, and it's at least the third rag I've seen so far with an article on Goldammer's clean green supercharged thumper.
