Riding in the Fog

I love it.  One of the few times I ride without eye protection as blinking is better than trying to wipe the mist off goggles or screen.  I love the muffled sounds, the cool dampness, the way the cagers (most of them anyhow) finally obey speed limits.

That looked like my ride this morn....Wish I was so confident in the cagers being more aware....but I was nearly taken out by one that decided that riding in the fog and yackin' on the cell phone was a priority for them Angry

Hey I just looked at your webpage and your in Gardena...Heck I'm a block away from Alondra Park/El Camino College over in North Torrance....were practically neighbors Grin

Kaishaku, Yep.  That's my $10 fishtail as recorded by a $90 Polaroid PDC 4055 mounted on the handlebar.

SeeAPierce, Yep.  8)  About 7am.

HDI_IA, didn't say they were more aware; just that they mostly slow down to the speed limit.   Grin   They are LESS aware as they are driving around in a fog, literally as well as figuratively.  Which doesn't bother me as I know I'm invisible anyhow.

I'm a bit more than a block away from El C. -- about a 15 minute walk.  I walk to the Gardena Cinema for their matinees.  We'll Your dad and I will have to do Ricky and Ronnie's sometime -- just so I'm not the only Thumper there.

Wow you mean Ricky and Ronnie's is not only Harley's?

I have been down by it before, but never stopped in cause I thought it was basically a Harley night there. Guess I was WAY off the mark on that one Undecided

Yeah I'll see about getting him down there once I get his bike finished. I rebuilt the carb and got the problem with all the fuel in the air cleaner and case resolved, but I am still have issues with it and might have to pull the carb once again  Sad

welcome bobtreat, i hope you enjoy the stay.

stop by the cafe and sluggos table for a drink, it's a place where just about everything is up for discussion.
you can kick you heels up on the table, or even dance on it if that floats your boat.  Grin

About half V-twin cruisers, half sport bikes, a couple of V-8's.  And exactly one single.  Very lonely.
