Cracked dryrot plug wire (Read 2 times)

Posts: 344 Gibsonton in South Florida Gender:	Cracked dryrot plug wire 12/24/05 at 11:55:12 The plug wire on my 87 is in pretty sad shape, cracks and crumbles. I would like to replace it. Is the wire removable from the coil? It looks like its permanently attached. Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas to all Ike

With a little patience you can remove the rubber and expose the "prong" so that you can attach a new plug lead. Then remember to seal it well....i used silicon sealant.
