what maintenance _really_ needed?

Hi,

My wife's 2001 has 4950 miles on it. It's had regular oil changes but I don't think anything else besides that.

What maintenance does the bike REALLY need at this age/miles? I know for cars many things don't really need to be changed, certainly at the interval specified, so just wanted to know for the bike.
