Shorter-reach control levers?
12/01/05 at 08:00:58
My wife has small hands and is having a problem operating the clutch and brake levers due to the finger-tip reach (for her). Usually you can't bend these into a sharper dogleg without breaking so I'm not going to try that. Anyone know of a good alternative? These are not generic levers owing to the clutch interlock-switch tab etc. My previous Kawasaki ZRX had levers with adjustable standoff by an eccentric screw or something like that. Thanks for any ideas.

Well, if you can find generic short reach levers, it is very easy to disable the clutch interlock. Just tkae those two wires and solder them together and tape 'em up.
