I was stationed in Norfolk on an aircraft carrier from 1972-1975. I did 2 Mediterranean cruises.

That is also where I bought my second bike. It was a Honda 360 which I would drive all the way home to SC on some weekends in port....I had a much tougher butt at that age. I'd drive 400 miles down the interstate on a Friday evening, and back again on Sunday.

Tough bike too.

When coming back from Yokosuka, Japan some of the guys had bikes aboard stashed wherever they could... the helo hangar, torpedo mag, etc. Buying in Japan and not paying shipping saved quite a bit.
