Posts: 3547 Rome, Italy Gender:	Springer front fork ? 09/21/05 at 08:53:11 I have just bought my 1988 Savage (still have to collect it actually, it'll be a good 500 mile ride ... hope it won't rain ) and one thing I've often daydreamed about is a "springer" type front fork. I assume HD springer forks from modern bikes can be horribly expensive, so what about alternatives? Maurizio

BTW, Roadbike is a lousy magazine, IMO, though there are usually some good sections... They are all about the $30 - $50k bling-bling metric "choppers." bleh
