Title: Springer front fork ? Post by mpescatori on 09/21/05 at 08:53:11 I have just bought my 1988 Savage :D (still have to collect it actually, it'll be a good 500 mile ride :o... hope it won't rain :-[) and one thing I've often daydreamed about is a "springer" type front fork. I assume HD springer forks from modern bikes can be horribly expensive, so what about alternatives? Maurizio |

Title: Re: Springer front fork ? Post by vroom1776 on 09/22/05 at 09:05:28 I'll have to scan it... This may take a while... I'll try to do it soon, though... :) BTW, Roadbike is a lousy magazine, IMO, though there are usually some good sections... They are all about the $30 - $50k bling-bling metric "choppers." bleh ::) |
Title: Re: Springer front fork ? Post by SeeAPierce on 04/26/06 at 08:55:15 Did a search and came up with this thread... Has anyone done any research on if/how/what kind of springer or alternative front end can be abused onto the front of a Savage? |

Title: Re: Springer front fork ? Post by Curz on 04/26/06 at 14:55:07 www.jeris-springer.com Looked at this site...seems they could make a custom one. I bet it would cost an arm and a leg though! |
