Yes, Dad....

The rectifier is under the battery and the ignition module is in the toolbox.  I also removed the rear footpegs and filled the holes in the swingarm.

"J.B.Weld" makes a 2-part mix product that I like a lot.  It comes in tubes, just squeeze some of each out and stir them together and then fill whatever you want.  I sets up in about 20-30 minutes and cures overnight.  It can be filled, drilled, whatever...and is hard like steel.  
And it is not expensive.
