I believe there is a company named Seeger Cycle that can help you along with that project. Check out some of the links to this site and you will find the pictures of some of the savage cycles that have it on them!!! Grin

The Hog Hunter went with the Seeger kit.

Jesse Ray reworked the front end of the frame.

I like the smaller tank.  I always thought that the tank looked too big after chopping my bike.

i've stayed out of this one as long as i could.

there is no such thing as a "chopper kit", there are some extended front ends, and that makes them a "custom".  chopping is something you do to a machine, not buy for it.  Shocked

here's my example of a chopper.
yes another blattant plug for thumper

hell yeah.  My buddy said "I bought a chopper."  I said "no you didn't; You don't buy a chopper; you build a chopper."  The dude sold him a chopper, but he didn't buy a chopper!

You rock, sluggo!

And all this time I've been thinkin' of that as "Sluggo's Bobber" instead of "Sluggo's Chopper"...

you are correct o' savage one, i chopped it into a bobber.

but then again, someone could buy the extended front end and put it on a machine they are chopping..

I disagree. When I think of a chopper, I think raked and extended forks, a peanut gas tank, and maybe a rigid frame. All these items can be store bought. While your bike is "chopped", it is a bobber.

This is a chopper (this one defined, or redefined the term):

Just for fun, here's how the online dictionaries define "chopper":

Merriam-Webster dictionary:
7 : a customized motorcycle

dictionary.com:
6. Informal. A motorcycle, especially one that is customized.

I guess I'll go for a ride on my chopper  Wink Grin

Hmmm, reminiscent of Captain America's ride... but d@mn that seat looks brutal... especially on a rigid frame.
