Grab bar in place of sissy bar.
07/27/05 at 00:18:18

I have seen on some of the pics on this site, some real nice looking grab bars attached in place of the standard sissy bar. Any idea where to get one?
Thanks

Ike

Come see me at the shop. We can likely fab something up from the junkbins for not a lot of scratch.

Ike

Here is what one of the grab bars I was talking about looks like

I bought Gitarzan's custom german seat (there is a thread and description elsewhere) and want to keep the "smooth" custom look going. Grin

Thanks

Know this grabbar. It is homemade out off brass and chromed. Was in a German forum ages ago.

I'd say if you could pick up a used sissy bar on e-bay or something ... or if you're willing to hack on your own OEM bar, then I'll bet that with a bit o' cuttin' and weldin', a grab bar could be made from it!
