LIGHT BAR?
07/26/05 at 21:07:18

Does anyone know if there is a light bar available for the savage or some other model that will work? the only thing i've been able to come up with is to buy the P-Clamps and mount lights to that. Is it even possible to mount a light bar to a savage? Any info. will help.

There is someone on this board who has a light bar installed and has pictures. I can't recall who it is but I think it is a gal. Perhaps she will chime in and let you know about it.

in my world, any thing can fit anything. Grin

just a little ingenuity involved. well that and a drill.

there are limited accessories made for the savage, but that doesn't mean you cant make what you want work.

do things that way and you will truly have a unique machine, and the joy of doing it yourself.

It's not a real necessity, I just like the look of a light bar over lights just hanging on the side of the forks. thanks so far!!

that should be a pretty easy mod, and a good starting place.

Correct! The triple trees are the same, other than the VS800 unit having both pieces chromed.

Buy the best unit you can afford. If you are going to do it, worth the money to only do it once.
-WD

VS800 can also be used to source: headlight, taillight, pegs, floorboards, mirrors, turn signals, horn, and chrome master cylinder/cap.

whats up wd? also chris if you want to keep hook up simple and do not mind the lights being on all the time just remove the headlamp and locate the always hot wires for the turn lamps and get the right size male bullet connector for the spot lamps and just plug it in
