Trying for the first time. This is the name of the lake with our bikes near the covered bridge. For anyone who is interested there is a Factory rack under the bag. Works pretty good for commuting.

This is the Lake. It's actually behind my house, but my house is on the other side from where this picture was taken. And this is my wife Theresa on her Vulcan.

8)Went on a 316km (196mi) group ride yesterday to the beautiful town of Carbonear, Nfld. to attend a Bike Show put off by the Relic Riders mc, raising money for Childhood Diabetes ... was a beautiful day, a great Ride, but unfortunately I had some trouble with the digital camera ... so I only managed to get a shot of the Bikes at a pit stop along the way ... sorry, no Lake shots. A pal took some dandys though, so I'll post some as soon as he forwards 'em to me!

OK my pal forwarded me some pics from yesterday ... here's a photo of me tryin' a Trike on for size at the Relic Riders mc Show n' Shine

I had a good ride on the 9th and burnt a tankful. The first picture is not technically a body of water but it is water none the less... it is just mixed with clay. Hey don't laugh, we have been in drought like conditions for a month so finding a muddy road is tougher than you think.

The next picture is taken at the south of Lake Huron looking north.

8)Hey bentwheel ... back in the 80's, my in-laws used to live in Sarnia, ON!! Wife (then girlfriend) and I visited there a few times in '85 & '86 ... had some good times at a bar near the Blue Water Bridge to Port Huron, Michigan ... just remembered that my good friend Nadine who rode with us on July 9th has a sister who lives in Sarnia ... and we (wife Maxeen, Nadine and husband and I) drove thru there on the way from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland to Toronto back in '01 ... Sarnia is a great town ... thanks for the pics!!

Right click on the picture area, left click 'properties', mouseover and highlight the address, press ctrl-C to copy, cancel, cursor up to the address window of your browser, clear existing and press ctrl-V to paste, click GO. Brings up the picture for me. Browser back arrow to the forum and the picture is in the message. Don't ask me why.

I had a nice ride to Lake Nockamixon yesterday, which is part of the state park system in PA. Its about 1/2 hour away so I rode and the hubby followed in the car with our kayaks. It was a hot day for riding but ok with a mesh jacket on.

Pic one is near the sailboat docks.

Pic 2 is where we launch our kayaks (if you look carefully you can see the tips of them on top of the car to the right).

Pic 3 is me in my kayak. It was a multi-purpose trip!
