Sounds great, LOUD and low rumbly, like you'd expect from a loud HD exhaust.

But I'm lean again.  Actually getting backfires when I let off to shift.  This is with a 155, half spacer, and stock airbox with door removed.

Back to the tuning board...

Where did you get a screaming eagle with the slash cut?  HD's website only shows it as a solid cylinder exhaust.

Most of the Screamin' Eagles on ebay are slash cut.  I got these for $75 plus shipping for the pair off ebay.  I really wanted turn-out ones, but ya know how it goes.

Still got the other one, but the mounting tab is wrong - You'd have to really work it over with torch & hammer.

You can have it if you pay the shipping.  There's some drawbacks to it:

1.  It don't say screamin' eagle
2.  the bracket's wrong
3.  It's got a scratch along the bottom - like they leaned the bike too far in a turn and the muff caught gravel.  It's not bad, but you can see it in the reflection of the manilla envelope - near the front of the muff.

Worst part is the out-of-place mounting tab.  Let me know your zip code and I'll get a shipping price off the web - whatever's cheapest.

I've got both types available as well from work. For that matter, I've got 2 complete in the box, never been used, slash cut, BLACK ceramic coated LS650 exhaust SYSTEMS. New headpipe, muffler, clamps, brackets, you know, the whole thing. Guess I need to take the camera to work one day next week.

$6.15 UPS Ground, 5 pounds to 74055.  If you have Paypal, my account name is belindabobo@sbcglobal.net

($5.71 Parcel Post, but you don't get a tracking number or insurance that way.  Worth the few extra shekels to me, but your call)

The systems are in the $150 range. Might be worth it to get rid of the rusting out system on mine. Sitting up in the Pacific Northwest is NOT good for these bikes. Too wet year round. Almost as bad as the Mississippi Gulf Coast (ask Max sometime how rusty the fender rails were that I pulled off, less than a year old).

HD take-offs run 20-60 bucks depending on what size/style they are and how nice the chrome is. Yes, we have Screaming Eagle take-offs as well as stock take offs. About 500 pounds of them actually.  Undecided

Been there, done that.  Tongue  If you had to move them about the shop you would measure them by the pound also.
