I happen to like Bert's site. In the year or so I have frequented it, I have only seen it go down 3 or 4 times at the most. IF I were paying for the service I might be upset, but last I checked, it was free. I have gathered tons of valluable information there, as well as here. Both are great sites, and have gotten me out of a few tight jams

Putting it down is just plain nasty. Perhaps the reason it is so quiet lately, is the myth that it is uncool to post, or hang out there.

The site is full of great info, and people.

I am so NOT ashamed to admit I go there. To each his own, I guess.

Olypen.com is the host for suzukisavage.com. Olypen also provides name registration services and DNS services. DNS went down and thus there was no longer a numerical address associated with the name and thus no place to send any requests for suzukisavage.com.

After a while they had a single page up at olypen.com stating that they were the target of a DOS attack and they were working on it.

IMHO those who launch DOS attacks and take down a server deserve to have their lives shortened by the amount of time that they have taken from others. About three days times 10,000+ users of the various sites hosted by olypen equates to them owing society about 100 years of life. Pay up.

Taking time away from others is against my life policy. I feel that the proper way to live is to take a few minutes of your time to save others hours of their time.
