The article is about adding 12.5" apes to a Shadow 750 ACE, but, it walks you step by step through the add-on process. Covers internal wiring, re-cabling, has sources for parts, lots of tips to make the process much smoother than I can walk you through online.  Tongue

The rest of the issue looked pretty good as well. May issue, so grab it soon. Roadbike and The Horse Backstreet Choppers (think Outlaw Biker mag without nekkid girls  Sad ) are the only bike mags a Savage owner should read. Metric tech and sources from Roadbike. Old school inspiration and do it yourself for really cheap from THBC. Just my opinion...I could be (and frequently am  Grin) wrong...

The Horse BC also has an interesting forum.  Nothing like this place, mind you, but some nice metric chop pix now and then.   Someone there posted Sluggo's bike a few weeks ago.  It got favorable comments, even though most of were like "What's that? It's cool."

Have never read "The Horse" ... sounds interesting; haveta keep an eye out for it.
"Roadbike" is a great cycle mag ... another good one, which I subscribe to, is Canadian Biker.
