A 200cc bike doing 70mph -- probably.  I did an indicated 65mph keeping up with freeway traffic on a 100cc Twinjet.  My DT175 with the tall sprocket would do an indicated 65mph.

I'm just thinking about the scooter's smaller wheels.  They gotta turn quite a few more rpms to do 70....

Think Mini Cooper (original, not the bloated BMW.)  10 feet long on 10 inch wheels and unbeatable at many courses.

And of course, the gearing is tall and engine turns a few extra revs...

Well this T5 is hitting 65 mph now at 124cc... so should be easy as pie to get 70 out of that. Let alone a 200cc. I expect 80 - 85 from this T5 when its kitted up to 172. But its got tall gears and short high rev stroke too. It will most likely be hitting close 9K rpm or better when it gets there.  But its designed to do so.

Now remember this Yamaha would be belt and variator not gearing per say. Its an automatic.  And yea... I bet it will do it. I bet it will take a long run to get there though. But should be able to indeed do it

I think the speed record of a 10" wheel scooter is like 114 mph or something like that.
