Took the bike out for a spin to-day. First ride out-of hibernation
Started right up. Smiley
As the brakepads were new they had to be broken in, so almost NO brakes the first couple of miles.
Backfired a lot as the idle mixture screw was not in the same position as before cleaning the carb. Adjusted the idle after warming up.
Forward controls are a real pleasure, that with raising the seatfront 2" is more confortable then before.
Any way to cut a short story long:
I enjoyed the ride to-day.

SmileyReal nice Kropatchek ... and congrats on gettin' a Ride in ... I know that you guys have had a long Winter as well in Europe this year ... looks like my Savage will have to wait another month ... eventhough the calendar says it's Spring, it hasn't sprung here in Newfoundland just yet ...

boy howdy it's nice to see ya all get your work done and thinking about riding.

nice shots kropatchek,  hope you get some quality riding time in.

frankly i was even getting tired of all the shots of my thumper.

i made one last mod yesterday.  the tail lights while looking nice were not mounted high enough. i solved this by refurbishing a 49 year old tail light from an international pick up. let me tell you, they don't make things the way they used to.  i was able to dissasemble and refurbish it with the sub assembly from the bikes original tail.

perry,  i'm pulling for good weather soon for you.
my being able to ride this winter was not the norm. just a pleasant suprise.   Grin
