The price isn't bad compared to what the OEM components cost when you buy them from a dealer.  I have been told that a motorcycle ECU from a dealer can cost $1200.

If you do this I think people would enjoy following your progress.  If I get another bike it will have a carb(s).  Troubleshooting is much easier.

When do you think they will do away with carbs?

Speaking of much further down the road.....the video would have been better with a higher camera angle.

If the backfire and afterfire on the Savage is bothering you....this might solve that problem.

Would you also have to change gas tanks with EFI?

My method for fixing efi is pretty simple...
I just keep replacing $100 - $200 parts one at a time until it's fixed...
It does get pricey though... Huh...

Most carb repairs cost between 0 - $20...

If the efi goes out on my Hurley... I'm buying a carb... Grin...

I see no need to install injector on his Savage . first: this is not a racing bike and of its mechanical heart don't need to squeeze "all the juice". secondly: the engine Savage has a rather small volume and accordingly is quite moderate fuel consumption. no, I'm not quite ready to give 699 bucks for this set. Huh that's pretty sweet and definitely original, if someone decides to try this be sure and do a before and after test so we can see the performance changes in the SAVAGE!!
